EXHIBITIONS AND DISPLAYS
Alyangula Community Library has a special collection of craft items produced by the traditional landowners of Groote Eylandt which are currently on display.
The display cabinet and the artifacts have been kindly donated to Alyangula Community Library by the Aboriginal Student Support and Parent Awareness Committee to increase public awareness of the Groote Eylandt Aboriginal Culture.
The collection on display consists of a selection of bark paintings, fishing spears, pandanus baskets, didgeridoos, carvings, dilly bags, boomerangs and sand bottles.
