WELCOME TO ALYANGULA LIBRARY

The Alyangula Community Library has been established for the enjoyment and benefit of all Groote Eylandt residents.

The Library is located at the Alyangula Area School and offers a variety of services including a selection of children picture books, junior fiction, youth fiction, adult fiction, reference books, videos and DVDs that are available for people of all ages.

The library has a large range of magazines, including popular titles such as Women's Weekly, Modern Fishing, Home Beautiful and PC User.

If you can't find what you are looking for on our shelves, the library staff will be happy to order available titles from other Northern Territory libraries, via the Inter Library Loan facility.

The Alyangula Community Library is also a valuable source of information for primary, secondary or university students, as we have a large selection of reference books.

Photocopying, computer, Internet and printing facilities are also available, as well as a range of educational CD-ROMS for children.

We have colouring books and puzzles that will keep the children amused while parents browse.

Membership is free and everyone is welcome.
