Welcome to Batchelor Community Library.

The township of Batchelor is located 98 km south of Darwin and has permanent population of approximately 700. Batchelor is part of the Coomalie region which is governed by the Coomalie Community Government Council. The Community library is a joint use facility and is housed within the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education Library. Batchelor is known as the gateway to Litchfield Park and is visited by up 250,000 tourists a year. Members of the community are welcome whenever the Library is open, however during semester times, priority will be given to staff & students of the Institute.

Thursday: 5.30pm to 8.00pm and Sunday: 1.00pm to 4.30pm.
