Katherine Public Library is dedicated to offering quality service to the Katherine Region and beyond.
The library has over 24,000 items in collection, including a special collection of books and items about the Northern Territory and Katherine Region.
| Our wide range of items for loan include novels and on-fiction books, large print books, books in other languages, DVDs, videos, CD-ROMs, music CDs, Spoken Word and magazines. |

But we are more than about books.
| Storytime is held every Wednesdays @ 10.30am. The sessions include storytelling, craft, song and dance and are aimed to introduce young children to library and the wonderful world of books! |

Throughout the year, the library has a lot to offer with planned events and school holidays so check our local paper or the Katherine Town Council website for updates on coming special events and holiday programs.
| Other services we have to offer are computer access (including the internet), faxing, photocopying, laminating and binding all at a small fee. |
