Litchfield Collection
The Litchfield Collection is a local history collection from within and around the Litchfield Shire. Areas covered include Humpty Doo, Noonamah, Bees Creek, Shoal Bay, Gunn Point, Manton Dam, Darwin River Dam, Virginia and many others.

What Is Included?
The collection aims to reflect the colourful cultural history of Litchfield Shire. Material in the collection includes books, journals, newspapers, pamphlets, posters, maps, cassettes, videotapes, oral histories, photographs, Aboriginal artefacts, reports, diaries, community information and ephemera.

Who Can Use It?
The Litchfield Collection is available to anyone interested in Northern Territory history. We welcome researchers, school students and visitors to the Northern Territory. As material in the collection is of a valuable nature it may only be used in the library.
